Leo I. Gordon, MD | Northwestern University


Dr. Gordon is the Chief of the Division of Hematology/Oncology of the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University and the Abby and John Friend Professor of Cancer Research and Professor of Medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago. He is also the Associate Director for Clinical Research and specializes in lymphoma research, a discipline in which he is one of the world's leading experts. Dr. Gordon is recruited internationally to speak and has written extensively on lymphoma, authoring over 100 manuscripts for numerous professional journals.

Bill Ashton | Amgen Pharmaceuticals (retired)

Vice President of Commercial Affairs

As part of Mr. Ashton's sixteen-year career with Amgen, he grew Amgen's neophyte sales force to one of the pharmaceutical world's most successful. After joining Amgen as one of its first sales and marketing staff members, Mr. Ashton moved on to be Vice President of Sales and then Vice President/ General Manager of Corporate Accounts. He also served as liaison to the Department of Health and Human Services, patient and provider groups, and health trade associations, and played a lead role in establishing Amgen's Global Government Affairs group, which keeps tabs on the changing worldwide healthcare environment. Mr. Ashton retired in 2005 and currently resides in Philadelphia.

Dennis R. Kroner | Oppenheimer & Company

Prior to joining Oppenheimer, Mr. Kroner practiced public accounting in Chicago for over 40 years. He was Vice-Chairman of the Illinois CPA Society and has served as Chairman of numerous committees for AICPA. Mr. Kroner is also the founder of The All-Star Financial Group, LLC, an information-sharing group of CPAs specializing in personal financial planning for entertainers, professional athletes and high net-worth individuals. Mr. Kroner is currently an adjunct professor at DePaul University and serves on the Board of Directors of Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital & Care Network, Avoca Foundation for Preservation of Educational Excellence, and Hektoen Institute for Medical Research (Breast Cancer & HIV Research) www.hektoen.org.

Steven Cohen | Hatzalah Volunteer Ambulance Company

Emergency Medical Technician / Professor

Mr. Cohen holds a B.S. in Health Administration and a Doctorate in Rabbinical Studies. He is a senior member of Hatzalah Volunteer Ambulance Company, the world's largest volunteer ambulance company. www.hatzalah.org In the New York tri-state area, Hatzalah receives
more daily calls than 911 due to an on-the-scene response time of four minutes or less. Mr.Cohen provides pre-hospital emergency care and works closely with Emergency Room personnel at all major hospitals in the five boroughs of New York. He is also a scholar-in-residence at Yeshiva Mesivta Tiferes Jerusalem and, additionally, lectures and facilitates workshops on time management, communication and personal growth. He resides in Staten Island.

Ms. Minor is a Certified Investment Management Analyst and a Certified Financial Planner. She holds an M.S. in Taxation. At UBS, Ms. Minor focuses on the financial needs of corporate executives, closely-held business owners and retirees. She also works with individuals whose financial responsibilities have been accelerated by divorce or unexpected changes in family circumstances. She is based in Chicago and Miami.
